Albert Rodriguez

A NEW ATTITUDE TO CYCLING

I have been passionate about cycling my entire life, and this passion drives my dedication to providing expert mechanical support at the highest levels of the sport.

I’m Albert Rodriguez, a UCI-certified bike mechanic specializing in World Cup Racing support within the cycling industry.

I provide technical expertise and precision maintenance to elite athletes competing at the highest level, ensuring their equipment performs flawlessly under pressure.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a range of professional teams and organizations,
including road race support at the Tour de l’Avenir, Mavic Service Course, UCI Road Development Team,
and as Head Mechanic for the UCI MTB Development Team.

Most recently, I’ve served as a mechanic for the Trek Future Racing MTB Team,
supporting the next generation of top-tier talents on the international circuit.

During the off-season, I operate a private workshop specializing in the repair and customization of high-end road and triathlon bikes.
I build custom wheelsets tailored to each rider’s specific performance requirements, ensuring an optimal balance of durability, aerodynamics, and ride quality.

Additionally, I collaborate with professional painters to offer custom paint jobs, delivering unique and personalized finishes that reflect the individual style and preferences of each client.

In addition to hands-on work, I’ve been involved in mechanic education, teaching various courses for different national cycling federations at the World Cycling Center in Switzerland.
Sharing knowledge and helping develop the next wave of skilled mechanics is part of my ongoing commitment to the growth of the sport and industry.

Soigneur Bike Services doesn’t just build bikes, it builds a cycling community. The Carrot Cake Ride is a monthly social ride born from a simple idea: bring people together for an easy spin, good coffee, and a shared slice of cake. Over time, it’s become a cherished tradition—a ride where the pace is gentle, the conversations are easy, and the coffee stop is just as important as the miles. It’s not about racing or chasing numbers, but about reconnecting with the joy of cycling and the friendships it inspires. Each month, familiar faces and new ones come together to share a passion for cycling in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. For a couple of hours, it’s a reminder of everything we love about being on two wheels—simple, social, and always finished off with a slice of carrot cake.

If you’re interested in learning more about my work or are in need of high-level mechanical support, custom builds, wheelset services, or custom paint jobs, feel free to reach out.
I’m always open to new projects and collaborations within the cycling community.
